The bodies and flames of the "En Show" company bring to life a circus-style reinterpretation of Andersen's fairy tale "The Little Match Girl". The poignant text comes to life before the audience's eyes, thanks to a visual mise-en-scène featuring pyrotechnics and the delicate interpretation of Eulalie Blanc and Jérémy Henchoz.
As the illusions unfold, the audience is drawn into the little girl's unhappy childhood. The show beautifully tackles serious themes such as injustice, poverty and death. Yet Eulalie and Jérémy rise to the challenge of doing so without heaviness. This is about Poetry. A special experience for all audiences. It reaches deep inside each and every one of us.
