Ecole de cirque de Bordeaux

For the 2024 edition of the Nuit du Cirque, the Bivouac company is leading an ambitious project with the 16 students in the professional training programme at the École de Cirque de Bordeaux. Since the start of the academic year, Benjamin Lissardy has been asking these up-and-coming artists to write a circus piece, using the structure of À corps perdus (the company's 2015 show) as a starting point. The structure is ideal for exploring a wide range of apparatus, including a trampoline suspended from a height of 7 metres, Chinese masts, pendulum masts and revolving masts, and opens up a wide range of possibilities for acrobatic, choreographic and aerial flights... 

On 16 November 2024, a ‘first look’ open to the public will be presented at the École de Cirque de Bordeaux: a way of showing off the work undertaken with the students. This performance will give a foretaste of the show, which will be presented in its finished version in spring 2025.
