Forty white blocks, a stone, a performer, a wine glass, a piece of rope, five white balls and an audience. Everyone likes to play.
In TAKTiL, the stage becomes a gallery in which the juggler, dancer and performer Benjamin Richter creates sculptures in a humorous and poetic visual journey that subtly tell of fragility, risk and connection. In a sensitive dialogue of object manipulation, Benjamin makes the qualities of his non-human partners tangible for everyone present.
Playing creates connection and Benjamin Richter gently invites the audience to cross the boundary to the stage and enter into a shared space of playful collaboration. A minimalist soundtrack supports this creative dialogue, which moves smoothly between sculpture and play, between aesthetics and the absurd. The question of who is playing for whom ultimately becomes irrelevant. The honesty of the encounters is touching, light and humorous.
