The Young Voice project follows on from the Cirkonet YX Youth Exchange project and is supported by the Ministry of Culture’s National Recovery Plan. In the creative process, he connects teens and lecturers across new circus organizations (Cirqueon, Cirkulárium, Akrobat, BudeCirkus) with the music laboratories of lecturer Ema Brabcová.

The short cntemporary-circus film Transformace21 loosely inspired by the czech philosopher Miroslav Petříček moves on the edge of a surrealist dream and a philosophical reflection on whether the world that is happening around us and is constantly changing actually makes sense. And do we always have to understand what is happening around us?
The first short film from TUTOcirk (at the time of creation under the name Žongléros Ansámbl) was a reaction to the situation in culture and society during the anti-pandemic measures in 2020. The Pilsen new circus company was looking for a way to respond to change and create a new language with which to interact with this world communicate.

Distribution

Cirkulárium is the only contemporary circus center in western Bohemia and was created as one of the primary activities of our organization Žongléros Ensámbl. We founded it in 2014 due to the need for a specific training space for circus arts in the region. From the beginning, we have been organizing education here for all the general and professional public with the aim of popularizing the new circus in the Pilsen region. Since 2019, the Cirkulárium has been housed in the hall of the former Pilsen paper mill, which we renovated. In addition to education, Cirkulárium also provides training facilities for our artistic group TUTOcirk and partial events connected with our contemporary circus festival Žonglobalization take place here.
