1:00 - 2:00 PM Workshop: ON THE EDGE OF BALANCE

What is it like to balance on objects that absolutely refuse to be tamed? Come and explore the world of equilibristics under the guidance of experienced acrobat Petr Biel. You can look forward to trying out the rola bola, balance balls, and—above all—Petr’s unique freestanding acrobatic ladder, a distinctive circus discipline you won’t easily find elsewhere.

Distribution

MgA. Petr Biel is a performer, clown, and instructor who graduated from the Department of Non-verbal Theatre at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU). His work combines clowning, pantomime, acrobatics, and improvisation. He performs at venues such as the National Theatre Brno and Jatka78, and collaborates on various other theatre and circus projects. In addition to his own performance work, he also works with children; he is an instructor for Cirk La Putyka courses and leads the Cirk La Putyka Academy at the Prague Exhibition Grounds.
