Circus Nights in Pilsen
Three days of contemporary circus—on stage, on screen, and firsthand.
During "Circus Nights," the Plzeň-based contemporary circus center Cirkulárium and the Alfa Theatre will become a hub for anyone wishing not only to watch contemporary circus but also to try it out themselves.
Cirkulárium opens its doors on Friday, November 13. Visitors can look forward to shared circus activities, a variety show featuring students and instructors, a film screening, and time for open training and socializing.
Saturday, November 14, is dedicated to workshops. Children and parents can try partner acrobatics, while other participants can take to the air in aerial acrobatics, turn their world upside down in a handstand workshop with Hannah Lennox, or dive into juggling with Aleš Hrdlička.
On Sunday, November 15, Circus Nights move to the Alfa Theatre, with the weekend concluding with two contemporary circus performances. In the morning, TUTOcirk will set sail with its poetic and playful production *AHOY!*, and in the evening, Aleš Hrdlička will present his solo show *Orbiting Zero*, blending juggling, object manipulation, and new magic.
Come and experience contemporary circus for yourself.
