What can fit inside a circle? Work, play, togetherness, absurdity, memories – perhaps even an entire little world.
Guvno is the first performance by Komplet Lepinja, a collective formed by Klara Barišić, Fenja Siebels and Maša Borović. Inspired by the traditional rural threshing ground, a place of work, gathering, and leisure whose circular shape bears an irresistible resemblance to a circus ring, the performance brings to life a space where everyday routines become play and togetherness becomes an acrobatic challenge.
Through partner acrobatics, acrodance, absurdity and playful physicality, the three performers weave a story about a threshing ground as it once was, and as it might yet become. Balancing raw poetry with delightful silliness, Guvno invites us to laugh, let go and reflect on the importance of community, missed opportunities and outsiders who are forever searching for their place in the world.
Perhaps a circle is where everyone can find their place, if only for a little while.
