Homunculo - Homens dos copos [LEME]
In a world increasingly shaped by isolation, two creatures find themselves sharing a space where communication no longer comes naturally. Homúnculo is a contemporary circus duet combining handstands, dance, and neutral mask techniques to explore the fragility of human relationships, the limits of coexistence, and the deep need for connection. Moving between attraction and distance, two bodies search for ways to support and understand one another, transforming a large black curtain into shifting extensions of their bodies and imagination, hybrid, fragile, ever-changing creatures.
Set within a suspended landscape between ending and renewal, Homúnculo asks what remains when almost everything else disappears: is it still possible to create intimacy, care, and meaning together? Through a powerful physical and visual language, the performance invites audiences to recognise themselves within this struggle for connection, reflecting on the urgency of rebuilding bonds in a time when being close to others feels increasingly difficult.
