The Young Talent Gala organised by the North Rhine-Westphalia youth circus scene, featuring the short piece 'Brace for Impact' by the German-Dutch acrobatics company Knot on Hands.

For the third time, young artists from North Rhine-Westphalia will take to the stage at the Fritz-Henßler-Haus to once again showcase the potential of the region’s youth circus scene. As part of this year’s programme, ‘gleich/gewicht’, we are delighted to welcome the Dutch acrobatics company Knot on Hands with their short piece ‘Brace for Impact’.

Two states, two forces in equilibrium: equal/weight. A space of contact where lightness and weight, moment and duration converge.
A constant negotiation between carrying and being carried, control and letting go, between body and space, closeness and distance.
Acrobatics, aerial artistry, dance, balance and juggling present ‘equal/weight’ as a process that emerges where forces collide, shift, yield and reform.

After the show, as is the case every year, there will be an opportunity for anyone interested to chat with all the artists.
