ABRAX Varieté

For the international “La Nuit du Cirque,” Circus ABAX KADABRAX is bringing contemporary circus shows to the big top at Osdorfer Born on November 14 and 16, 2025. The “ABRAX Varieté” is part of the nationwide festival Zeit für Zirkus, held in cooperation with the international La Nuit du Cirque. The goal is to give Contemporary Circus greater visibility within the cultural scene and beyond. Across Germany, a wide variety of international circus shows will be presented at different venues during this weekend.

Various Hamburg-based artists will present a fascinating program showcasing the diversity of circus arts while engaging with socio-political themes.
All proceeds from the ABRAX Varieté will go directly to the artists.

On November 14, 2025, the ABRAX Varieté will feature:

Babayú – Music and absurdity meet the audience in this crazy and extravagant clown concert.
Chronos – A quirky club-passing act inspired by the colorful and flashy style of the 1980s.
Duni, Malina and Conny from the Circus School TriBühne – Three people on one aerial silk – is that even possible? This question led to the creation of a mobile-like aerial act.
TriX – They interpret the four elements through different circus disciplines. Experience a fantastic mix of acrobatics and juggling, dance and unicycling.
Jonas Heitmann (Chronos) – A modern diabolo performance combining strength and elegance that captivates the audience.
Ines Linn – Musical accompaniment on the piano, guiding the audience through the evening.
