Lumen

Leire Froufe
Jona Harnischmacher

A solo performance that combines Chinese pole with real-time interactive projections. In this performance, Leire explores mourning as a collective and political process. 'Lumen' grew out of Leire's personal experience in Palestine, where she witnessed the effects of occupation and the global silence around it.

Physical play and responsive visual elements create a poetic, non-verbal visual language in which light becomes an active partner on stage. It is projected onto both the set and her own body. 'Lumen' transforms grief into shared strength and connects personal healing with political resilience. A visual and poignant performance that invites viewers of all backgrounds to reflect on justice, memory and resilience.

Pleaser

Cristian Boscheri

In his new solo performance 'Pleaser', Cristian explores the invisible energy of 'pleasing'. Not only as a personal struggle, but also as a collective pitfall. What do we lose when we want to be liked at all costs? Through (break)dance, clownery and physical comedy, Cristian exposes how the craving for approval affects our relationships, blurs boundaries and puts pressure on our moral compass. With raw movement and sharp humour, he shows the emotional acrobatics behind 'being nice'. 'Pleaser' is an invitation to experience tension and release together, in search of honesty, presence and the courage to just be yourself.

The Idle Hour

Motus Murmuri
Samuel Ryhner

With 'The idle hour', Samuel presents his first work with the compagnie Motus murmuri, in collaboration with William Blenkin. This poetic and physical performance explores the constant drive for productivity in our contemporary society. Two acrobats share the stage with a human hamster wheel: the object forms both scenery and metaphor. Where one figure exudes tranquillity and seeks stillness, the other is propelled by restlessness and ambition. Their clashing energies and physical interactions create a penetrating image of the inner conflict many know between wanting to perform and simply wanting to be. Without words, but with a powerful interplay of acrobatics, dance and sound, 'The idle hour' raises questions about the rat race we live in, the value of standing still and finding meaning in a world that never pauses.
