ARBO is a contemporary circus fairytale where movement, light, and story merge into a single whole. Set in the enchanting Winter Circus Arena, this performance transforms the space into an intimate universe where the impossible becomes tangible.
At its center is an acrobat, trapped in a monumental cube measuring 6 x 6 x 6 meters —a labyrinth of air, steel, and thousands of living lights. Every flicker, every shadow, becomes a voice in the dialogue between loneliness and connection. The aerial acrobatics transform isolation into play, curiosity, and encounter, while the responsive LED lighting awakens as fellow actors, constantly reinventing the space.
ARBO invites the audience into a glittering microcosm, a place where reality and imagination merge. Here, every movement is echoed, reshaping the story and enveloping the audience in a captivating embrace.
Created by circus artist Jef Kinds and artistic coordinator Mia Drobec , ARBO is a celebration of collaboration, technology, and the poetry of the human body in motion. More than a performance, it is a sensory journey through light and emotion—a magical encounter that resonates like a dream beneath the vaulted roof of the Winter Circus.
