Isla Of Flightless Birds

In an empty space, two bodies construct a new territory of shared existence, communicating through movement and risk. As the space gains identity, the bond between them strengthens, but the inevitability of separation approaches. A visual and poetic work that reflects on communication, transforming space into a living organism that grows, changes, and empties.

Duo Acaso, the duo between Tjasa and Fernando, was founded in late 2024 when both, by chance, met again in Portugal, involved in some joint projects. The vision and dynamics between them awakened the desire to create something original, and since then they have been working on the Isla of flightless birds project, their first collaborative original project.
