The End You Don't Know presents scenarios of unlikely, unknown and unrealized apocalypses, with the goal of sensitizing the audience to the more likely ends of civilization that threaten us. The play is modular in nature, where each chapter (apocalypse) can take different places in the play, and it is also possible to add and subtract chapters depending on the topicality of some topics and new knowledge. The dramaturgical, and consequently the performance logic, is based on chess endgames, and general chess logic. The performance is predominantly non-verbal, set on a chessboard built of tatami mats, with the help of scenography in the form of video projections on two horizontal and one vertical screen. In addition to the more traditional performance techniques of physical theater, mime and contemporary dance, the play places special emphasis on movements and logic from the martial art of jiu-jitsu, creating a culturally more tangible atmosphere of conflict in conjunction with the characteristic floor paved with tatami mats.

The play draws on a wide range of influences, such as: The Seventh Seal by Ingmar Bergman, the music of Charles Manson and his followers, the music of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, as well as the unfilmed film of the founder of that musical collective - Incomplete movie about jail by Efrim Menuck, numerous statements by chess grandmasters that poeticize chess in their own unique way, and the Book of Revelation by John the Evangelist.
